Tea for Two box tutorial

This is the hostess box from Monikas...
You use the new dress die...card base Pop N Cuts #130099..I would not be surprised if SU came out with more inserts other than the dress form...it has a magnetic plate for other dies .....I cut the DSP 4 1/2 x12...it barely goes over the edge of the die...the die is then scored at  1 1/2, 2 1/2, 4 1/2, 6 1/2 , 8 1/2 and 9 1/2 ...score on those lines , then use the xl oval to cut the handle..it is too hard to cut after box is attached..

use bone folder to flatten the score lines...
center the punch in the first 1 1/2 inch scored area for handle...put the tabs
in to secure piece while punching...

these are views from each side...after punched...

The inside piece is cut 6 x 8 1/ 4....and cut into the score lines ...leaving a piece to cut the four tabs....all sides are scored at 2 inches....

attach sticky strip to the end tabs...with the tabs going inside the box

                                    Here is the finished box.....

If you put the sticky strip ...either on the bottom of the box or on the DSP to attach the bottom....

after that is attached, attach the sides....

your box is finished, except for the tag and the ribbon on the handle...
the tag is made using the blossom punch #125603 and the template from the mini..Occasions #129387...with the new array set and the two small scallops from the mini and holiday...

used a bamboo rod to curl the ends of the blossom...
attached with dimensionals.....here is a close up of the tag...
