I LLLLOOOVVVEEE pastels and this paper is to die for...am so sorry to cut into it and use it...YES....I know it is a sickness.....lol
Will post the details for the card tomo in the am...
After the stamp was on, it went through the big shot honeycomb EF
On the inside...itty bitty flowers with the tiniest of pearls...the smaller ones add such a delicate look to the bulky card...

The dimensional put on the left side popped it up and held the card closed...sorry about the photo...took five and unfortunately, this was the better one.....need to get a tripod...anyone know of a good one that you can use with the small Nikon.....??

50th Anniversary and From our Hearts cards

Here are some pix from the 50th anniversary reception...yep...Aunt Peg is vertically challenged and Uncle Vern is tall...I visit them once a year for a week and always enjoy the visit...really look forward to it...I just visited in May but drove the 7 hrs Fri and Sun....long weekend as far as on the road..lol  Yes, this is the couple that received the heart triple easel card that I posted....I know Peg will like it!!

Peg is retiring from Florence Police Dept in KY the end of July and then they will start traveling...she has the greatest personality....think everyone loves her humor...and can she cook...oh yeah....and have always been close to my uncle who is 13 yrs my senior!!
Here is a picture of my brother , Pat and his family...sorry Lynn...should have taken another one...Kelly 28 and Courtney 16...gorgeous family11

These ladies work with my aunt and were at the same table..
Picture of Rick and I...am already losing weight working with a nutritionist....hopefully, in a year's time will be where I want to be....am suffering from a back injury and badly in need of a haircut...lol..but we enjoyed ourselves....

Another long post...today was FROM OUR HEARTS card ministry...had one in middle of the day and one this evening......these pix are from the noon ministry....Bonnie Cory brought her granddaughter from S.C. who was visiting.....she was very good and very creative...most of these pictures are of Megan working....really enjoyed her today.  I always enjoy my ladies who help with these ministries....

 Look at that concentration....

She did the double stamping on the flower card...her cards were wonderful...did a great job...she can come back anytime!!  Hi Megan, if you have a chance to read this with your grandmother!!
Bonnie and Elaine are very hard workers...sorry gals that the focus was on Megan..lol  Below are the cards we did...
Loved all the cards....felt I could have done a better job with the honeycomb and hexagon punch card but was tired...lol
 same card ...different paper...
 Honeycomb card....
Thanks for looking...have a great day and evening!!

Was a one on one swap....class card this week..Swallowtail

I love this stamp and the card in person is a lot brighter than it looks on this entry...the background was sponged on with white craft ink....the butterfly is embossed in black...two halves...and the round array is used in the corner...the two halves of the butterfly were brightly sponged...and then glued and a dimensional was used to make it look as if it were in flight..

Used the black marker on the body of the butterfly....

3 Heart Easel Tutorial

I started out with the three largest hearts from the SU framelits..these three we cut from the following pieces...for the large heart with scallops, use a piece of 6 x 11 vanilla paper (or your choice)...for the medium heart 5.5 x 8.5 piece of cardstock and the smallest of the three 4.25 x 8.5 piece...

the paper is folded over and is cut with the two humps on each heart missing...just move it down a little on the framelit....it needs to be cut this way to get the fold in each...then cut one heart of each for each size...
Fold each heart that is folded like shown below...this will become the easel  part....
You will use adhesive on each flap that is folded....pay attention to the two photos below as they are correct...

the folded area that has adhesive on it will be the front of the folded hearts...in the above photo...the full heart will be glued at the base on the folded adhesive section....I hope this isn't confusing..and apologize if it is as I had to get this done quickly and leave for out of town...no time to make two of them...sorry...
this does show where the glued part goes...but it is open only to show the glued area....the area you only see part of is then flipped under..so bottom part is folded over and the top has the easel on it...
this is it glued (above) and then the extended part is folded under...the picture below shows how it looks when you put the easel part of the heart face down....this is showing you the finished piece from the back...

When all three are finished in that manner, you will attach them to the back of the smaller one....this picture below shows that you glue the backs only..put glue only on the tip or bottom of each heart back....largest to smallest...

Here is the first large one attached to the back of the middle heart...

This is showing all three attached from the back of the card...
The card is them turned over....you get the card to stand by putting each heart front in the little v space of the previous card...

Here are closeups of the finished pieces....

I used the gold paper and champayne glitter paper...also embossed some of the gold pieces...the 50 is an old sizzix letter set...I wanted it in gold so it was my only option...sorry about that...used the heart embossing folder for the two hearts....let me know if this was clear enough..thanks for taking the time to read the tutorial...I will get better...lol

3 Heart easel anniversary card

I made this card for my uncle's 50th Anniversary...am traveling for the celebration....will post pictures of the celebration on Monday....and a tutorial for this card late Monday...a picture tutorial....

Million and One set and ...die made smaller

Still with the Quatrefancy DSP...used the mosaic embossing folder or white half of card...
Here is a close up of the apothecary framelit...made the inside smaller...was so easy with the magnetic platform...
had the inside framelit cut first and then used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the phrase in there jusr right...yeah!

Quatrefancy DSP with Blooming with Kindness set

Still loving the pool party...absolutely loved this pool party paper (Quatrefancy DSP)...stamped the Blooming with Kindness flower and then embossed with the honeycomb folder...the small stamp (A Round Array) has one dimensional on the side closest to fold..it helps keep card closed....

closeup of the embossed and flower section
this is the inside with a couple of flower accents...

Beautifulyl Baroque with Eastern Elegance DSP

I love the curry with the gray...pretty combo....used the oval framelits to cut center out..used Field Flowers stamp set...Eastern Elegance DSP...
the apothecary frame is popped with dimensionals...you could leave the smallest circle without popping...it really doesn't need kit...
