3 Heart Easel Tutorial

I started out with the three largest hearts from the SU framelits..these three we cut from the following pieces...for the large heart with scallops, use a piece of 6 x 11 vanilla paper (or your choice)...for the medium heart 5.5 x 8.5 piece of cardstock and the smallest of the three 4.25 x 8.5 piece...

the paper is folded over and is cut with the two humps on each heart missing...just move it down a little on the framelit....it needs to be cut this way to get the fold in each...then cut one heart of each for each size...
Fold each heart that is folded like shown below...this will become the easel  part....
You will use adhesive on each flap that is folded....pay attention to the two photos below as they are correct...

the folded area that has adhesive on it will be the front of the folded hearts...in the above photo...the full heart will be glued at the base on the folded adhesive section....I hope this isn't confusing..and apologize if it is as I had to get this done quickly and leave for out of town...no time to make two of them...sorry...
this does show where the glued part goes...but it is open only to show the glued area....the area you only see part of is then flipped under..so bottom part is folded over and the top has the easel on it...
this is it glued (above) and then the extended part is folded under...the picture below shows how it looks when you put the easel part of the heart face down....this is showing you the finished piece from the back...

When all three are finished in that manner, you will attach them to the back of the smaller one....this picture below shows that you glue the backs only..put glue only on the tip or bottom of each heart back....largest to smallest...

Here is the first large one attached to the back of the middle heart...

This is showing all three attached from the back of the card...
The card is them turned over....you get the card to stand by putting each heart front in the little v space of the previous card...

Here are closeups of the finished pieces....

I used the gold paper and champayne glitter paper...also embossed some of the gold pieces...the 50 is an old sizzix letter set...I wanted it in gold so it was my only option...sorry about that...used the heart embossing folder for the two hearts....let me know if this was clear enough..thanks for taking the time to read the tutorial...I will get better...lol
