Washi Tape and Artisan Label card/smooch

I received this as a swap and cased it for the most part....
I changed the label part and added the inside .....I also used smooch spray on it....not a good picture...tried illuminate ink first and liked the smooch spray...reminds me of our retired white frost...
The black really goes on nice but have to heat and leave for awhile if on white paper....but really adds to the contrast....
the inside is using the honeycomb embossing folder and the washi tape

Shaving Cream Method

I have always loved using the shaving cream method...I usually take three or two colors and slowly swirl them in the shaving cream....get that from the dollar store.   Put it in an empty meat or vegetable Styrofoam tray that has been cleaned...and then I place the paper face down and scrape with a popsicle (craft) stick...I have ssssooo much shaving cream it is hard to see the black tray...lol (Add drops and then swirl until you like the design...I wanted a water effect)
 Then I scrape it off......

then let the paper completely dry before I use it.....have two cards in mind which I will post in the next couple of weeks....

Sorry for my not blogging....Life got in the way!!

I have been trying and trying to get this utube thing off my blog  on previously to this.....I was trying to figure out how to post a video I had seen and this is what I got above...if anyone know how to get it off PPPPPLLLLEEEAAASSEE email me or post...it is bugging the beegeebees out of me!!

Handled St Charles Yard (Upscale) Sale in Jacksonville....here are some pictures so you can see the size of it...we do it once a year!!  It takes about 2 months to put together and it is a lot of manhours on everyone's part..and the donations from everyone, including my sweetie, Rick......the first few pictures were of the tents outside and the bikes, tables, craft, toys, puzzles and mechanical stuff....can you tell I am NOT a techie...lol  they were also taken at 5 am the 17th....Saturday...the morning of the sale...lol

Loads and loads of clothing...the people in the parish really did what we asked...if you aren't going to wear it again, no one else will...we received about 90+% of usable items...a great number with the tags still on the clothes...I know I cleaned out my closet and so did many, many others...lol Gail, Charlotte and Teresa (not sure if there is an h in that name...sorry) worked so hard and it was sssssoooo organized..

Tables were up front of the hall for the food served...the Sloppy Joes were to die for...thanks Bridget..Ron made some killer pulled pork sandwiches....everyone that ate said it was great......and the bakery....Mary and Dot do a lot of it and so many others.....don't want to tell my nutritionist how much I sampled ...lol
in the back was the shoe, hat and bag boutique...actually was great...the long wall against the window was all seasonal...some nice things....

there is always furniture too....actually one lady's family donated four items of her late estate and took one piece and paid us for the piece that took...now, that is beyond Christian...and I know Rose is smiling down on us.......Ray I believe checked and labeled the cost of the electronics...not my field at all...thanks,Ray!!
2 cashiers were at the door...and Patty and Judy helped wrap and total before they got to the door...it was so busy...all these were taken before the sale started.....even saw my doctor...Dr Joy...who's wonderful sons helped us with all the heavy items!!   Thanks boys!! A couple of the hard workers clowning the night before when we were all really tired....Doris my wonderful sidekick....Helen the jewelry head and Janyne...the boutique lady!!

The Center of Hope picked up the remains...had to make two trips...between the two trips one lady,Millie, from First Baptist came by and asked if we could donate to their raising funds for Zack...she took as much as she could before the Center of Hope came back for their second load....I was amazed how much she got in her van....lol....
Now I think I can post business wise again...it is about time.....lol
