Magnificent Maple Resist tutorial

I used the Quatredfancy DSP with red and yellow ink and a brayer...as a resist...really made a nice fall card

used versamark and clear embossing powder...word of warming here...you might want to do a couple at a time....very difficult to see the clear until you resist...then, still a little difficult to see...

after clear embossing, then use the brayer...start off the paper and go passed the paper...when you apply ink  from pad to brayer, do it in a circle motion..never going off the pad quickly..

add yellow and then red...until you get the desired effect...always use lighter color first, then darker color

the sample below is using some paper DSP that has a very closed pattern...you really want the pattern to show through ...it just pops more...

this shows some yellow ink and then when the red is added...

when the desired effect has been obtained, wipe the excess ink with a paper towel...Diane, one of my downline is showing the technique...do it in a circular motion and viola...a really wonderful paper..

same effect with a different paper from Quadrefancy DSP pack...I LOVE this one..it really does pop

finished card....
Also did some others..using the thankful phrase...using curry again with the phrase...

 more close ups....
 Do love this one...lol
