Wonderful mermaid card by Lisa Reber......others from a previous class

I
I was involved with several swaps with other demos and this card made me buy the mermaid set (Magical Mermaid)....I could see it as a wonderful child's birthday card.....I changed several minor things ....the basic design stayed the same.....sometimes you see a card and it is perfect ( in your mind anyway....lol)....this is one of those cards.....Lisa had the phrase on the inside and it did it on the outside....never should have done that....once you heat the window sheet it melts so to speak....I am such a techie....lol....hence the way lines....we changed the design for class and put the phrase on the inside, the way Lisa did......did use the wink of stella on the mermaid with a little different look...have coral, beads and shells on the paper on the inside.....thanks so much Lisa!!

This center fold card uses the wonderful DSP Whole Lot of Lovely....so well named....love love love this DSP.....used the set that goes with the kit Hello Friend.....love the boldness of the hello....used tranquil tide....gorgeous color!   Use the perfect accents embellishment.....love those....

the stitched framelits add so much to this tag....
This next card, I double embossed with the duo set and the Garden Trellis embossing folder....yes, still same DSP but different pattern....I really need to move on but love this DSP....

Doesn't the peach just pop off the card.....love that ribbon ...so forgiving to work with....I double embossed the pool party piece and used 1/4 inch pieces of DSP to pop the card even more...
the Flirty flower set is perfect for this card...with the stitched frame and markers on stamp

inside of this card with the Label Me Pretty...which goes with the new punch....the rest of the inside is finished with Flirty Flowers

This is the card that took me the longest to create....I would like to say I did this fast but kept changing it....now I love it....lol....I wanted to use the new embossing folder with the vellum card stock....Sweetheart embossing folder...I wanted to cover up the heart....and wanted to use the lime card stock but softer....so this is the card .....I knew I wanted to use the foil paper.....and don't you just love that ombre lemon lime ribbon......
 close up
I wanted to make this cup unique with a saying on the inside.....cut two pieces from the framelit small cup and then used the heart from the bookcase set...viola....isn't it cute?!   lol

Bleached card

I have found that baby qtips are best for bleaching on a card....I don't like putting the stamps directly in bleach.....this crumb cake has a nice muted peachy color when you bleach it after stamping with our black archival ink....love the effect...

the inside came out well also....Butterfly Basics was used for the inside...the new set for the front of the card is Floral Statements.....that set has two large stamps in it....this hello and a thanks....wonderful with black archival ink!!

A special 50th anniversary card for a special couple of friends

Made this for a special couple in my life...they celebrated their 50th anniversary in Switzerland....their home country...the amusing thing is they met in New York...isn't life grand!

used the new trellis embossing folder....so so elegant.....added the gold foil and the old neutral sequins....had to use the retired as for their 50th....usually always use current...but saved them for this occasion...lol....as a friend of mine would say...things are what they are.....

Here is hoping I can get back on track....these are the first two Christmas Series classes...yes, you can do by mail (completed for extra cost or base for same fee as I charge other customers....$15 plus shipping) or can make up locally.......message me

                                                   First series

inside first card....yes that is a halo...see what happens when you hurry....lol
