I am not usually making an animal card, but these guys are so adorable....couldn't resist to say the least....saying goodbye to this embossing folder.....when I made the card, didn't emboss..with the class I embossed....love the difference....

Easter egg card

I know I always use this DSP....but soon it will be gone and then I won't have a chance...so love this paper...sorry, I know I am repeating this..lol...this is from Michelle Finnelly...I hope I spelled her name right..if you check utube and Easter egg videos , it will come up....you use the largest oval in the oval collection...the cantalope piece is 1x over the length of the egg...you can snip off the excess.....

 The egg is cut at 2 inch mark...then switch the two DSPs you used and you have supplies for front of  2 eggs...cut one of white for back....take the bottom of the egg (whichever DSP using for that and trim another 1/ 8 th inch.......when gluing the bottom...glue sides and bottom only...chick had to go in...use the bird builder punch and cut the tail off and trim the wing...sponge lighter than I did....the two petals on front...one next to the brad, one on top...top petal with dimensional, bottom with glue dot...the top orange piece is clipped on the edge at an angle so as not to catch when opening....the top is lined up and only connected with the card by the brad....

 the petal covers the brad in the back...attach right on or next to brad...don't prevent it turning to open the egg..

Fabulous Florets

So sad to see this go...love this stamp set...used with coordination paper...gone too...boo hooo...as is the Victoria ribbon...and Sweet Essentials...it is like I planned this retirement card...lol

Masculine fish card

Love the use of the festive die cut with this card...and the black , white and yellow really pop the card...

 as you can see I added the phrase AFTER putting the card together...left it as a learning lesson...lol

So Very Grateful in thirds

Absolutely LOVE the way this came out...the technique I got from the famous Sandi McIver.....had a  hard time tying that bow so the print side would show....lol......

 this is the best of the close ups.....

 used the word window and then the ticket punch for phrase.....

6x6 Thoughts and Prayers

I usually don't do 6x6 cards but had some large envelopes (usually don't provide the envelopes but this was an exception)....am sssssooooo in love with that watercolor paper in the mini......

Took several pictures, but this is the best one....if you look closely, you will see that I used the new dots folder one half of the background piece.   NO, you are not seeing things..I used smaller pearls on the top than the bottom...so class could see difference in size....this is easier than it looks..just use temporary adhesive and Stamp-a-ma-jig for postioning...used the large circle in circle collection and bigz die for scalloped circle...

Secret Garden with bling

I am a lover of blues....the color....love all shades....added a little bling to this flower..unfortunately, I touched this flower to attach before it was dry...hence, the smear in the right corner...left it there to remind people to let it dry....we did this part of the card first in the class last week....

 Love the dazzling details and the small punched center with a neutral candy dot...they are such a nice, wonderful accent...don't you think...really pop the card.....the diamond shape it popped up

 really love this stamp...the double shaded hello from the new set, Peachy Keen...on page 18 in the occasions mini....love that stamp!!

Second From Our Hearts card

Used some old ribbon I had....colored the rhinestones with a red permanent marker....love the way it turned out...

If you use the waxpaper, the hive folder comes out great.....used a retired piece of paper...and used that same paper for the inside of the butterfly..added rhinestones.....with most of the others, we cut the hive smaller so the "missing you" would not be over the hive.....came out really cute

One of the From Our Hearts cards....Easter blessings without the phrase...

Did the flowers with the water color paper...and used the fancy folds embossing flowers..old pretty in pink paper...used wild wasabi and pistachio ink for leaves and pink pirouette and rose red inks for bloom....it came out and blended pretty well....

Those of you who know me know I am a non-mechanical person...

Orlando asked me to hold the ceiling up with the stick (the drywall), and then asked me to hold the troll    thing  and to hold the tape for a minute and then he grabbed the camera and told me since I was posting pictures of him...I needed to post one of myself....gotta love his sense of humor....my family will appreciate this...they know I don't have mechanical bone in my body..lol

Love the plants and blooming this time of year

I wasn't quixk enough to get a picture of my tulip tree...but love the flowers I picked up at Lowe's...really gorgeous in person..

 this tree is always gorgeous...every year....

 this is the first time I have seen the bloom on a kale plant...gorgeous!!

Gifts of Kindness

I have had this set a long long time and have wanted to use it but have not gotten around to it....did find out something during the process.....had the class only emboss the two middle pieces....not the pacific point.....

 smoky slate and whit embossing powders...don't you love those candy dots...I simply LLLLLOOOOVVVEEEEEEE them...to say the least!!

after I had finished with this...I added a white candy dot button for the inside...

Alligator card....a case

Cased this from my upline   Linda Bauwin...loved this ...can be done vertical or horizontal...class members divided which way they liked...lol....love the gumball coordination paper for the alligator with the google eyes...used the 1/2 in punch below the eyes....and the pennant builder punch...haven't used that in awhile....

 pistashio and so saffon and vanilla paper.....

Pool Party Hive

Used Pool party and the coordination matching paper.....sanded it before I cut with hive edgelit....use the wax paper ...makes the job so much easier....I used dimensionals to attach it.....

 used dazzling details for the flower image and set and let dry....
