I would love to say that I came up with this but that is not the case...lol....I do a WOW swap at convention with Joann Cristo (a wonderful Canadian) and love this swap....it is great when you have some seasoned stampers who are looking for new ideas....It was perfect, so just made it current...used the sweetheart punch and candy dots....there is suppose to be two instead of one...the little bugger was lost and didn't notice when taking the picture....sorry about that....to make it current with this catalog you could make the tie a bow tie.....just cut out two triangles and glue, used the other dot embossing folder and our new black and white DSP coming in the new catalog...thanks SU...love the black and white paper....Joann used the petite pairs for the mr and mrs...I just chose anniversary...usually need more cards for that....
this is a closeup....image the other candy dot..perfect....lol
this is a close up of the dress..I took the card apart to figure out how it was made...Here are the visuals for the dress...you can fold the skirt either way...depending where you want the fold...left or right..
next fold...
fold the tip under....I glued it to itself...
this is the sample pattern I created...for the bodice...the long triangle area at the bottom is glued to the piece above ....and then the silver ribbon and glitter flower with rhinestone is added...the whole dress is popped.....
you can make this one size and when you put it on the sweetheart punch you match the tip and trim the excess....
