Glimmer sympathy card

This card was done awhile ago......it has Flourishing Phrases....just love the purple....used the grape paper and ink and layering ovals

I will try to post here and there but since I had knee revision (knee replaceent and added parts since partial didn't work 4 yrs ago)....hopefully, I will have access to my craft room....I may end up posting repeat items!

Card for Sherry Robinsons shoebox class...no line water coloring

I loved the way that this turned out but I don't think I should have done this for the shoebox...don't think anyone read the directions....but a lot of them came out nice regardless....love the technique

used a piece of ribbon and glued on and popped the phrase

OnStage roomie gifts

Made the little suitcases out of the large stamp case....believe that idea came from the UK....don't remember who.....she used the plastic purse handles.....I used drawer pulls...we used it for our supplies for our make n takes

 I have done this with the stazon and window sheets but Patty Bennett added the glimmer paper behind it....such a wow.....I picked the soft colors and really liked the effect....

 this purse that I gave my roomies is from Linda Parker from the UK...the only thing I changed was coloring the gem and the paper....but want to try for a couple of gifts and change it up for Christmas....we will see if I get to it....

Is used the detailed lacey pieces as a stencil for the outside of this card...or part of the front....

80th Birthday card

A very dear friend loves a good glass of wine and loved using Linda Bauwin's million dollar set...these first two pictures were of the wine comments on the inside of the card....

This is the front of the card with the tufted embossing folder...SU always amazes me with their creative designs

A swap for On Stage in Orlando and a class card..

This is a class card using the Peaceful Reflection set.....and the brayer

I hadn't used this house set so I did it for onStage.....used the Stampin Blends....a word of caution....they work great on our card stock but use the fine point as our paper is super absorbent and it may bleed..    the set is called Pop On By...can't wait to use the pop up inside part to the edgelit.....Around the Corner set is so overlooked and so versatile

Class card using the glimmer paper and the chic tropical and 2 other sets....

This uses the glimmer paper in the holiday mini and the Eastern Beauty edgelits...wink of stella....it is gorgeous in person.....Love love love the front on Painted Glass and the edgelits are so delicate and gorgeous....

Worked on this card for a few months until I got it the way I wanted for swap

I loved this stamp set when I first saw it in the catalog....used water color, markers and stampin blends in addition to brayering....took me awhile until I liked it...the shadow I did to cover up an error...should have used it on the cards ...it was a masculine swap...so knew it would go...love the blues and green......

Christmas series....the finally two

Finished my Christmas Series In October....created the cards ahead of time....all my make ups are finished.   This first one is a simple one with red and white.....just edgelits and a popped up phrase

The one is a cut out diorama type card....cut out the green spruce tree and used the shimmery embossing paste.....put that aside while the rest of the card was put together....Used the glimmer paper behind the phrase...think this one is my favorite'

Used the tufted embossing older on the gold deer and the swirl in corner...added the bow and the red rhinestones for nose and flower center...

Saw the deer with the punches  online and added the paper and corrugated embossing folder...

50th Anniversary Frames

I did two 50th anniversary frames....the first one I started in June but wasn't able to finish for quite a few months later as I was unable to get a photo and verify the date before finishing....both mother and daughter are in my classes.....it was late but appreciated.    Then I found out that one of my church and card ministry members was celebrating theirs so did a second one.....

 Used the glimmer paper and many embossing folders and edgelits...so much fun

 this uses the foil paper and the subtle folder...

 the basket weave

 uses the retired numbers but worked well on this...

larger letters and the linen thread and stained glass framelits...so elegant

 used the larger current letters on this..

used the retired set because we didn't have anything current to toast the couple

Serene Garden

I just love love love this set...it was one of the first I ordered....

Love the olive gorgeous grape and daffodil combination....it just pops off the card

the shading with the stampin blends just are wonderful to work with.....

80th Birthday card for friend

This is an 80th birthday card for a friend....a floral box card

Used at Open House in June

Love this basket weave folder...…

We used this at the June open house....and they made the little box to go with it...what I love about this card is the DSP that comes in every color and is so versatile....I don't know anyone who doesn't like polka dots...lol    When you just attach the middle the dragonfly is just so airy....

Case from Linda

This is a case from Linda Bauwin….love her videos......I did this a little different but I like how it came out...when we did it in class I told my customers to switch the diagonal pieces and put at the top and the stained glass cut out in the middle of the card....much better balance....I had put so much work in this card that I was not going to tear it apart....lol...love the melon and pacific point together...would never have done that on my own...their DSP makes your job so easy!!!

Making up for lost time....lol

It has been ssssoooo long since I have posted and need to get back to that and do on regular basis.....these cards were from classes right after this last annual catalog came out....so need to get back on track.....

 Tropical Chic set with edgelits….used the new embossing plate so embossed some framelits on the card...the wink of stella doesn't show up very well.....also used the stitched label framelits..

 Healing Hugs is a wonderful set...used that set and the delicate lace edgelits with the 1/4 " mini striped ribbon (grape)...and the climbing vine impression folder

then used the enamel dots at the bottom of card
