MDS hybrid ..using ...grunge set

I did case this partly from one on the boards at convention...just added a little of my own ...
 Love the grunge set in this layout...
 Used primary colors...and added green for a quote and the brush end...
 I used both the blender and aqua painter to make the colors run a bit...could have just sprayed them probably...gheez....lol
 Did my own thing with the brushes..cut the cardstock at an angle and then used the woodgrain embossing folder...used a crim[er on the silver part of the brush...should have made that a little thinner but liked the effect...

 a place for journaling...

MDS hybrid share...Etcetera DSP

Had a vision about this spread...too bad I couldn't remember how to add the font in a line...would have made this easier...lol...used the frames from that DSP to work on the page...love the way the banner area turned out....below is a list of what I used in this spread...
 added the string line after I had this where I wanted....
 some banner pieces are embossed some are prints....
 still love that flourish..how delicate is that?   wonderful
 some rhinestones add a little bling...lol   I know Diane is loving the bling...lol
 these are the frames cut from the DSP

 Did the wording with MDS...wanted it to pop more....

Other than the MDS title..(did a shadow with the font) these are the materials used
                * 12x12 Etcetera DSP #130129  $10.95 used 1 page and in banner and frames
         * Very Vanilla 12 x 12 cardstock #124301 $5.95
*Old Olive classic ink pad #126953 $5.95
* Basic rhinestones #119246 $4.95
* Hearts a Flutter stamp set #129252 clear set $18.95
* Hearts a Flutter edgelits #130159 $24.95

ribbon birthday card ...a direct case..

I really loved this card in the catalog ....so did the exact same thing as on page 14...only one difference...I curled the piece with the phrase on it and used dimensionals...otherwise...same card...sometimes, you just can't fight perfection....I am trying to do more elegant and basic cards...it is hard when your brain thinks in layers....sort of like unlearning...lol...great male card!!

The Ribbon dancer was amazing as was the live band...

 Sorry my photos suck....wish I was a photographer but I am not...just do my best....

Dress framelit box

 When I first did this  on this blog post, I needed it to fit one candy..for the hostess luncheon...but it was a tight fit, so did it different than this post http://franscraftplace.blogspot.com/2013/04/dress-framelit-box-and-hostess-luncheon.html
Sorry about the large pictures and sorry I forgot to take a picture of the completed project...but will explain it at the end....this is a 3.5 square piece of indigo...score at one inch on all sides....
cut as shown above and then glue it with sticky strip...
you cut one dress from the edgelit dress form...don't go by my picture...I had cut some pieces I had left over from the fold over...embossed with the baroque embossing folder...and all you do is add sticky strip to the bottom of the completed box and attach the dress....it will be easier to fit a treat in or some small candies....
