Gently Falling
used the distress tool...
used the two stamp method...did the thumping with the makers..before doing the second part
Magnificent Maple Resist tutorial
I used the Quatredfancy DSP with red and yellow ink and a brayer...as a resist...really made a nice fall card
used versamark and clear embossing powder...word of warming here...you might want to do a couple at a time....very difficult to see the clear until you resist...then, still a little difficult to see...
add yellow and then red...until you get the desired effect...always use lighter color first, then darker color
the sample below is using some paper DSP that has a very closed pattern...you really want the pattern to show through ...it just pops more...
this shows some yellow ink and then when the red is added...
when the desired effect has been obtained, wipe the excess ink with a paper towel...Diane, one of my downline is showing the technique...do it in a circular motion and viola...a really wonderful paper..
same effect with a different paper from Quadrefancy DSP pack...I LOVE this one..it really does pop
finished card....
Also did some others..using the thankful phrase...using curry again with the phrase...
more close ups....
Do love this one...lol
A Get well card to Margaret.....old typewriter stamp set
Sent this to my dear friend, Margaret...just loved this old set...am selling it..but really pretty in black white and red
Open Sea
I have been ssssssoooo lax about posting...so am doing a long post today for all items that are sitting in my my draft folder....so sorry for delay....will try to do much better...
did the bottom direct to paper....and the cloud area with a scallop template for cloud effect...
if I would have masked...I would not have had that blank area..too much of a hurry at times...lol
