Watercolor wings and last of card ministry for July

The Watercolor Wings set is to die for....and just love the brick wall embossing folder and the new butterfly framelits...

saying was stamped before the brick embossing folder...guess you could easily do either....just put the phrase on the larger bricks...

Just used the black memento ink and the blender pen with this...

Dazzling diamonds was added to the butterfly after colored with markers...fussy cut...

Some Favorite swaps from convention

I made and swapped quite a few cards....these are some of the favorites...this first one is by Judy Rossiter, one of Linda Bauwin's downline...love her work...

 Lost card with this one...it is a take off on one of Linda's cards....cased the same card....lol

 Loved the simplicity of this one.....Cindy Schuster, former SU Artisan did this one..

 This is the same technique...floating ink that I did on one of my swaps...love the colors and design on this one....Tammy Adcock...thanks again Tammy for being my swap angel...lol

Boho Butterfly

Love Soft Sky and Blackberry bliss together....

 cut out the butterflies and then stamped the image in the middle of the soft sky butterfly

 then cut out the cover piece with two different edgelits...

then ran it through the big shot and boho embossing folder...

Another WOW swap

I had created the hanger item for a newborn baby card ...so was trying to find something to make using the doilies...so I just added the skirt...I am not the most mechanical person  so it did take me awhile...lol

 Took the owl punch and cut out the vest shape and used the scallop punch for the ruffle at the bottom...I had to be involved with a punch art swap for a year before I was comfortable looking at the punches and seeing other things...took me awhile....lol

 Played with the doily and used a fourth of the circle...

 folded it in half...

glued the one side down and folded the tip under and glued it...

 the finished product....didn't love it but I liked it...lol

 then I did the card below...the gatefold....but used the thick whisper white...has a little more body...this was just my practice regular whisper white....

Alternatives to July 2015 paper pumpkin

Looking at this negative piece reminded me of a curtain...top of it....

 so I designed a card using the gray piece in the kit...

 drew on the back and

 cut the curtain section out..

 below is the piece cut out of the curtain ...

below is the curtain card....

I used the negative piece with sponging...

and did some masking to get the card below..

I also used tracing, cutting and masking and some DSP for the following alternative to the July 2015 kit...

 stamped on a sticky note and then stamped the first one on the card and continued to mask...

 until I made a group of wobbly cupts...and then used the DSP to make the single cup.....and glued the DSP to stamped image...

 we also talked and showed embossing on the cup and paper....
