Timeless Texture and Sheltering Tree

This swap was using the two sets if you wanted ....I used the timeless texture as the grass and sky....sky is hard to see in this photo...

 Just inked the for you from a phrase in the Sheltering Tree set....used the tags and labels edgelits for the phrase box....

Tower Card ...

This is a very easy card...take a piece of 5.5 by 8.5 piece of card stock and score the piece 2, 4, 6, 8....and after you cut the card stock and DSP for the sides......leave whisper white for the back side in case you want to write a note to the person you are sending it to......it will go in a regular envelope .

   Here it is on my Ikea Bulletin Board.....

I just love the simplicity of it.......some people make it with a piece that goes all the way around ...or partly around the tower....personal preference...depends what you like....

 I used the flower punch that is retiring.....the petite petal punch would work also...or edgelit pieces..

 Used the gel pen for the dots accents...think that really pops the card....thanks to Linda Bauwin for the tutorial!!

Six Sided sampler was used...

Used two stamp sets for the black and white 3/4 punched circles that I placed on the big dots that were embossed....

 Used the Happy Birthday is from Birthday Blossoms....

 Blended Bloom set was used with the zentangle technique....

Easter Brunch with my ladies group before Easter (bunny basket)

Always enjoy entertaining....love to cook but mostly like to cook when entertaining....we had fresh fruit , ricotta and spinach quiche and a lemon curd dessert...yummy and just enough food....being from a large family I tend to try to serve too much so am trying to cut back....

 Here is the table setting.......

 Love blue....can you tell?.....and the butterflies go so well with the gold plated silverware...

 Here are the cute bunny baskets.....had a homemade marshmellow egg inside....

 Had to use some un SU ribbon but it went well with the blue I chose....

Easter card (Friends and Flowers set from mini) and Sympathy card

I post so much in groups and on my Create with Fran FB site that I overlook my blog ....sorry about that....will try to keep up....sometimes, Life gets in the way....lol



This first one is a card for my sweetie, Orlando....he loves loves loves comical card....so I am always looking for ideas....lol    Used the Friends and Flowers set from the mini for the inside....for the outside used the oval punch and drew the pink area and added the scallop punch for the tail...the honeycomb embellishment was perfect topper....used the crumb cake card stock....the hole was made with the 2 inch circle in espresso.........after using the Woodgrain embossing folder.....I inked my brayer and ran the espresso ink over the woodgrain to pop it....1 3/4 in circle was used as the bunny's torso....

 This card will be in my upcoming class in April....April 7th is the only class this month...due to Onstage at SLC in April...I used the Heartfelt Sympathy set in the regular catalog....and back to using my white gel pen.....I have made that my mission for OnStage......to pop cards using that pen....at least a few of them....lol

 Used the white seam binding for the ribbon....and the Wisteria and Eggplant card stock....love this embossing folder....I sssssooooo overuse it....but that is what we do with our favs....lol    It is the elegant dots embossing folder used on the Wisteria....

Grateful Bunch with wink of stella pen

Used the wink of stell on the flower leaves and the mint cardstock around the label...it really popped it....also used it on the butterfly

the enamel dots were perfect on the flower leaves

the dotted background leaves were done in old olive...

Used a piece of smoky slate behind doily to pop the doily...

 Added the flower and card stock in blushing bride....leaves were wasabi...wanted to keep it pastel...going overboard....pearl was the perfect accent
