Another simple scrapbook page with glitz

This is a very simple scrapbook page ...I used dazzling details on the flourishes and kindness stamp...unfortunately it doesn't show up as well as I would like.....Have a great day!

Sorry...this is my first posting on my scrapbook pages done monthly.....the last picture is embossed in black and then colored with markers and then the silve and dazzling details is used on top....should have done the background with water color but didn't....the fence and pumpkins used the wood embossing folder and the pumpkins were done with MDS...have a great day...

 

 

 

Embellished Events and stand up card

I made this card from a card design that I had received in a swap.  I had seen this form of card before but had to take it apart to see how it was put together.....I used the polka dots specialty DSP and red glitter paper and 3/4 and 1 inch circle punches..curly cute phrase.the last picture above shows the card bottom closed so it can fit in the envelope...when you take it out , it stands up on its own....clever!!    ..below is a CASE from either Ellen Kemper or Jackie Topa....the one in the blanket is a case from Jackie...such a talented lady to say the least.....the only thing I did different was the branch made with espresso and our wood embossing folder....I made this for a wonderful customer, Evelyn...what a sweet and charming lady...her grandson is expecting his first child so made her a card and showed her how to make these baby cards below.....also gave the card from my workout instructor, Amy, at JSU...she is expecting her first child....have a great day....

 

Creative Elements/Betsys bloom combo

I absolutely LOVE the way this card turned out.....I also love yellow and black together...such a contrast to say the least.....I used the clear and black embossing powder.   The buttefly was punched twice and adhered in the center only before adding the rhinestones.....on the inside the large bloom was done in the corner and a punched black butterfly was in the oppostie corner...have a wonderful day....

Back from Vermont

I spent my 65th hiking in Vermont....I knew I was out of shape...this showed me how much....lol....will post some pictures below of some of the colors...the bright ones were on the ground, but Mass and OH were very colorful..we stayed at the Gray Ghost Inn in Dover, Vermont...it is run by Corina from Sweden and her family....rustic....their chef was wonderful...wish I hated great food....lol........It was nice to see old friends and new.  I can not hike in AL weather....when it is ssssooo hot....miss the hiking year round.  The weather was mostly in the 40's thru 60's...Vermont doesn't allow billboards ...what a difference that makes in viewing the wonderful scenery!!   Visited the Vermont Country Store, a Norman Rockwell exhibit, Freishan Horses, Robert Frost's grave and Hildene (the home of Lincoln 's son)

It was great to be back home, but not great to have a problem with my computer...just got it back today, as well as my phone and direct TV were out of whack....HATE mechanical things...

Case of Monika Davis from meeting

This is Monika's (Davis) card from a meeting...I left the background plain..did the butterflies the same way except I didn't use the staple...used gems but not shown in this picture...used a different paper from Twitterpated  and used the Happy Birthday from the Bring on the Cake set..

The second one is a case of the first....I used the bottom one for the 10 for 10 and the top was one of the cards for my FromOur Hearts mihnistries.....love both of them..using a clear block for a stamp....have a great day!!
