From my Heart with chalkboard technique

I tried a few cards and this is the one I settled for next week's card class...love love love the modern medley DSP..gorgeous paper...I colored the rhinestones with a black permanent marker
Added some zentangle doodling to the black cardstock...

Here is the inside of the card...this will change depending on the number for that class...same DSP but possibly other design...
this is what it looks like closed...
Liked this one but not as much as the one I chose..

Graduation card share

I made this graduation card twice...one for a boy and the other a girl...this one was for the girl..the top part of cap has dimensionals on it..the phrase is from the new set..Really Good Greetings..
the saying is embossed in silver....she loves to dress up so the note inside had the dress and form....

Tag Swap and card case, more remodeling.

The card on the right is LaRee's card from the swap at Monika's...I used the exact same design with all new incolors...and a different saying..
Here is a closer look...

Did a one on one swap with tags...posted mine a few days ago..this is the one I received..
The remodeling is coming along...slow but sure....it is always too slow..we always want it done yesterday....just want to clean my  house..if you have had any remodeling done with all the white dust , you know what I mean...lol...shower done except for glass doors, paint and shower head..
Toilet plumbed..as is sink and ready for vent..there was NO heat vent in bathroom...and no outlet...or exhaust fan...

Walls ready to paint...after a little sanding..

This is the sink ready to be put in...and handles need to be on...it is in my plastic bedroom...lol

Father's Day card

This is the Father's Day card ...one of the cards for this week's class..using the new incolor Pistachio Pudding...

On each side measure down one inch , also measure the same amount going in....it will look like the picture below when you fold the collar back
Then  I ran it through the big shot with the striped embossing folder
Take the plate below the collar line to emboss
At this point , the card looks like this...
I made a template for the card and used the Natural Composition DSP..brayered the paper with Pistachio Pudding ink....
It is hard to see but the background is pistachio...stitched the collar with the baked brown sugar marker...and added two neutral candy dots...those are so much fun....I can see that I will be demonstrating these A LOT...lol

This card part is 8.5 by 4 folded and the corners rounded, like the shirt...trim after it is on the shirt part of the card...4 1/4 x 5
This is what the natural composition DSP looks like before it is brayered

These two pics show different Fathers Day sayings..

Best of Flowers set

Kirsteen Gill had the inside of this card on her blog  :http://www.stampinconnection.com/photo/mat-for-window-framelit
I created this card to showcase this wonderful set...after cutting out the framelit, I masked the bottom so I didn't sponge there...stamped the saying in night of navy (maybe black would have been more stunning..lol...too late now)  I wanted the black frame to be smaller so I used the 2 1/2 and 1 3/8 square punch...could you the new framelit set...I cut the two pieces of 2 1/2 inch punch in half and got the four halves in black for the rounded edges...did the same with the square pieces and then popped the piece up with dimensionals....the sponging was done with wisteria...background with bit of pool party, then marina and a little night of navy...everyone's card looked different depending on their sponging...but that is the GREAT part in this technique!!
After stamping the flower image...used a post it note and one inch circle for moon...
Used Honeycomb embossing folder for top part..
Delicate Detail folder for bottom...only put plate partly on the white piece..
Left enough space at the bottom for the greeting....

Tag share...using dress die

I did this tag for a tag swap...trying to challenge myself...am not as confident in this area but liked the way it turned out...vintage look...lol
The dress die was used and figured out what size I wanted to use and then ran it thru the die twice...once for each side so it would clip together..
Chalk set was used...just used the markers...and I used these self stick Delicate details ...actually use them again and again until they won't stick...great product and good value....and used a vintage faucet designer button with linen thread thru it......sponged on the edges and can tie to a thank you gift with the crumb cake seam binding tape...the vintage wheel is rolled across the tag with crumb cake ink...soft suede and garden green are the inks...
