Third and Fourth Chistmas series

Trying to get back on track....am sssssooooo far behind posting wise.....this is my last two series in my Christmas stack......the first one shown is the fouth Christmas series.....the first card is using the Star of Light #142110 from the Holiday mini.....if you NEED a catalog, message me.......I used the versamark with silver embossing powder....it really pops this card....

 The night of navy used to cut out the Starlight Thinlets Die #141840 is so elegant to say the least....if you want both the stamp set and the edgelits....buy the bundle #143508....a small rhinestone is used in the center.....with a phrase in the upper right hand corner...

 

The second card for this fourth Christmas series is the card below.....I had this card almost finished....got involved in a swap and loved loved loved Charlotte Coombes idea with the swirly edgelit of the DSP...thanks Charlotte!!

Used the Holiday set Jar of Cheer #142161.stamp set, the swirly framelit, the saying fom the set Reason for the Season on page 34 of the regular catalog.....and the canning edgelits....

the DSP and the swily edgelit makes this card.....

Used the new embossing red glitter from the holiday catalog....shows up much better up close and personal

Used the metallic red and white glitter twine for jar...

The third series .....did last month used the Greetings from Santa bundle fom the Holiday....#143524 for the clear set.....

 Used a sheet of 5.5 by 4.25 of the whisper white ....embossed the scroll and phrase on the inside with gold embossing powder.....

 PUT TWO RHINESTONES ON THE DOTS  ABOVE AND BELOW PHRASE.....and used the gold wink of stella to color them gold.....
    Here is the second card of this seies.....used the debossed part of the petal embossing folder for the garden green background.....used the set Peace this Christmas on pg 27 in the regular catalog...

Used the paper Christmas Specialty for the bottom and put a piece from the debossed piece and placed in the middle of the stripe.....used the oval layering edgelits.....and used wasabi paper with the pretty pines thinlets.....used suede card stock for the pine cones.....cherry cobbler paper was used fo the bow and the frame.....wink of stella clea was added to bow and fame to pop them....

Sorry for not blogging...Life has gotten in the way big time....lol....ran a church sale for six weeks and hardly had time to breathe....this is my second series .....will post the first series later.....the first card is using the Embellished Ornaments set that was carried over......did it in cherry cobbler, gold and vanilla......I baacked the cherry ornament with vanilla and popped it.   The DSP is This Christmas Specialty....cut strips from the one design

 The phrase is that is embossed on the front is from the same set....

 I used the gold wink of stella pen on the the design and on the ornament.....also used it on the three small pearls that fit in the center of the ornament

 the inside of the card is embossed in gold and from the Wonderful Wreath set...

 The second card in the series is the Flurry of Wishes set...a carry over...and invisioned that as soon as I saw the spinner framelit.......

 behind the spinner is a piece of silver foil paper ....

 rhinestones are added to the snowflakes....used indigo ink and paper on this card

I cased this week's class card for Margarets card

I did Margaret's card in red and different sheet of the irrestible DSP....

 I used the heart punch to punch hearts with red glitter paper and some the the sponged paper...hard to see as they are all wonky...put too many in there...lol

Inside before I wrote .....

First Christmas series...July 18th

I finished the first Christmas series a week or two before my Open House the 26th of June.  I got the inspiration for the snowman card from Seongsook Duncan....another demo.....but changed it a lot..loved her idea of  using the thinlits for the body of the snowman....wanted the original face from the Snow Place set...do a class where I send you 10 cards for $15....if you are interested..msg me or leave a note on my blog

 Used the Gently Falling embossing folder on marina Card stock....Merry Christmas from Flurry of Wishes set..

 used the diamonds glitter paper for snow base...

 Happy little guy isn't he?  lol

 Love Love Love this set of edgelits....FLourishing...used the garden green and real red..and colored the peart with the gold wink of stella pen

 The phrase is from Reason for the Season...

Used the Rose wonder framelits

Used the thick whisper white with the hearts embossing folder...strip of red on the edge....

 Layering squares....love them...and glues the framelit rose on

 Used the framelit for the sympathy and double cut it so saying would pop with border

Origami Fold class card using Flourishing Phrases

Blue is my favorite color so to say I was excited when SU did some blue and white paper doesn't cover it.....and they never cease to amaze me with their creativity.   Here is an origami fold card I did for a class earlier in the month...This is the card folded...you could also put a gift card inside with temporary adhesive.....

  I really love that SU listens to their demos....this set is awesome and has both phrases for inside and outside of the cards that go together.......wonderful!!!!!!

 I chose to put the phrases on the inside because I needed the image on the outside....anything blue is great!!   LOL

Card for a friend who is leaving on a road trip You're Sublime stamp set

Usually my posts are using current products but need to replenish my paper and wanted to do this in red, white and blue as she is traveling for 2 months to several states...Used the confetti embossing folder and the silver doily at the bottom....used pacific point, real red and whisper white papers ....cardstock...

 the heart was cut from the border heart punch and used the red glitter paper...

Fun card to make...just change the paper to make it current....
