A good man post

I just love this stamp set....used this for one of the cards at class Saturday....if you wanted you could use it for Father's Day..or another occasion ..
This is done with a simple masking technique.....you stamp the image in black where you want on the white card stock....then you cut out the mask....adhere it with temporary adhesive and the roll the brayer....

Use the crumb cake first for the sand....then mask the water horizon line and brayer the balmy blue ink....then mask water line...which I didn't do and you can tell...then used mango and then pumpkin pie ink...the stamped the phrase....can use whatever colors on figures....

Metal Oxidation

I used this technique for my Auckland swaps....the site Mitosu ....Jay did a wonderful video.....you start with silver foil paper.....choose your reinkers ...and put them on using the reinker and aqua painter.....just dab them....then you use the spritzer to help the inks move and heat with heat gun on first setting......when the ink is dry....you heat emboss it using clear embossing powder....you can use pieces and then cut or cut pieces and do individually...since I did 70 swaps....I choose the long strip method...and then cut

New Zealand Auckland OnStage....these are pictures not taken at the Onstage event

Here are just a few pictures from my wonderful trip to NZ....the first one is of the roomies....from left to right....Michelle Melligan (who moved there from the UK....and never sorry she made that decision) Dana Russell, Katherine Oughton, me and Sarah Pownall (who moved there from Ireland)...really nice group of ladies.....hope we continue to keep in touch!!
Met Sandrah Honor online....she is from AU...and I can guess she is a great teachers aide (sorry not sure what is politically correct in AU) She shared her calamari with me....so yummy and tender....got some mushroom soup (thought it would be a small bowl.....WRONG) and the fish basket....we were at Devonport Island off the coast of Auckland)

Here is an added friend from AU also....(Wendy Hodkinson) we ate at a Tavern that Sandrah had frequented  while at On Stage....yep brocccoli and fish and chip...their cider was good also...more carbonated than ours.....
Here is a picture of Tamra Davis and I at Hobbiton excursion....about 2 hours away from Auckland
Here is a wonderful lamb and hummus salad I got at either the Wharf restaurant on Devonport island or a Turkish restaurant....had the salad both places....super yummy....
The following are desserts that we got at this chocolate place in Auckland....with roomies the last night we were together in Auckland

Yep...per usual....made it 50 pounds exactly going back.....if it was a few pounds over would have been 200 extra......did that going over ...with all the hershey nuggets I brought...but was able to avoid the extra cost by transferring to my carry on

Was great to meet Kylie from AU...she has the greatest laugh in the world....she really does...her  husband Bruno took this picture...hadn't brought anything to show where I was from so Tamra gave me this......the picture would have been a good one if it hadn't been for the dorky sign...but at least I have the picture...lol

Sweet Cups for St Patricks Day

I know all of these posts are from previous older classes or whatever but am trying to post something three times a week.   I got a new camera...I dropped the other one so I now I have no clue how to download all the 60 pictures I have on the camera....what a bummer....it is with WIFI but maybe a couple new fiends will be able to help me......I used the gorgeous floral romance DSP in the Occasion mini....the paper is to die for....just simply love it.....used the pear pizzaz card stock for the shamrock...folded the hearts in half and add a bit of twine..came out real cute....did this for a few special people at my church's St Patrick Dance.....and also did for my card ministry ladies....
